I have rubbed shoulders with a shark while surfing an isolated secret spot, had M16 machine guns pointed directly at me at an army checkpoint (in a country I won't name) because my friend driving our rental car was operating the manual gear box with erratic movements, randomly followed a large whale out to sea in an old rowing boat I happened to be in at the time, had 'Apple Strudel' in an Austrian cafe in Jerusalem, done a handstand into a forward somersault off the 5m board at an Olympic swimming pool, studied Yoga 40 hours a week for an entire year, got off at the wrong bus stop and walked back to La Boca through Isla Maciel, which is one of Buenos Aires' most dangerous neighbourhoods, surfed all of NZ's best and secret waves and many more around the world, and a few other interesting experiences, but I don't like to show off!
