我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to discover a new country to me with local residents. I project to go to the hostel in Te Aro during my first week and then find a shared accomodation.
But I just see the risk of tsunami in few days after the earthquake that occured. So I don't know if my fligth will arrive to NZ. If he does I don't konw if I could go to Te Aro to the hostel...
If there is someone who wants to help in case of problems with this natural disaster.
