Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people from different backgrounds and hear their stories. I like when, in the course of your dialogue, one says "So one day I get up and wash the baby elephant in our garden as usual, then..." and you're like "What usual? Which elephant?", turns out it's a common thing in their country and they didn't know the rest of the world don't wash their baby elephants first thing in the morning and you didn't know people had baby elephants in their garden. I like those kind of realisations.

Not only that, I like how even the ones that you know since ages can sometimes come up with some stories that you've never heard and leave you in a state of astonishment and you wonder why in hell they haven't told it to you up until that moment. I like that kind of stories. OR the ones with time travel.
