I am a student from Vienna and just joined couchsurfing. I've already done this sort of travel/hosting in an unofficial way so I thought it would be cool to finally join this trend everyone is talking about. I think it's a great way to get to know new people and share experiences as a traveller and/or host.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Of course I could also sign up on airbnb but I think this is a better way to share my home with people. Also, I've learned that not everything in life has to be "paid for" or that one has to "give something in return".
