About Me
Hi there!
We are a young happy couple (30ish :) ) and we decided to quit our jobs to travel around the world with our bicycles -because why not? Our journey started in September 2017 in the US (California, Nevada, Utah), we then flew to Central America where we cycled through undiscovered Nicaragua, beautiful Costa Rica and exotic Panama. After this, we went back to Europe in order to cycle around the Baltic sea and found our way home in July 2018 :). In November 2018 we took our backpacks and traveled to South East Asia for 4 months (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines) and now we are back on our bikes for a last round in France and Swotzerland before heading back "home" to work a bit :).
Oh and in the meanwhile, we turned vegan :)
We love to cook too, so we'd be happy to cook for you (a good vegan meal :) )
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because we think that the best way to discover a place is to get to know its people! Discovering the culture, meeting people from all over, sharing experiences :)!
Interests
We love travelling and tried to do so when we were working, which in the end was not enough for us :). Nicolas is a huge fan of music (jazz, rock, indie, metal and a lot more)! Virginie loves good food and relaxation through reading, drawing, contemplating....

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
So many :) difficult to pick one. We've been sailing in the San Francisco bay, have seen a montain lion in the US, stepped on a very poisonous snake in Panama, we slept in the woods surrounded by wolves in Poland (we were shit scared!), Virginie has been cycling more than 6000km now though she was kind of a fatty in her previous life, we turned from carnists to complete vegan in one day, we've been working as interior designers for a soon to be hotel in Nicaragua, we became "Chef" in the restaurant of a really nice eco-lodge in Panama, cooking in a kitchen above the turquoise waters often visited by dolfins... we could go on!
Nevertheless, making new friends all over the world is definitely one of the top highlights, as well as understanding that people can be genuinely kind to one another, no matter the religion, nationality, or wathever!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Vegan cooking :) (We love it, we love learning and teaching :) ) sharing experiences, discussions, learning some French/German/English (Luxemburgish too, but not sure if it would be that useful to you :))
