About Me

I'm a cheerful Masai youth. I look forward to meeting new people, making friends and learning more about other people's cultures. Above all, I look forward to spreading our Masai way of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To introduce myself to people out there interested in visiting Kilimanjaro, having a great time and exploring Tanzanian culture

Interests

The Masai is an indigenous way of life not known to many. Even though Tanzania is currently undergoing rapid development that has many indigenous tribes fading away, as Masai peoples, we take pride in working hard to preserve our ways of life, while at the same time adapting to necessities of modern life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Masai dancing, dancehall and reggaeton, bongo flava (swahili) music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling to Kenya

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach Ma'a and the Masaai way of life. Learn more about who you are, where you are from, and what you want to teach me. Together, share life experiences and make new ones.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A reliable and trustworthy person to visit and explore Moshi with. Even though I freelance, I'm connected with tour operating companies within Moshi. Hence, individually or collectively through a tour company, I'm able to organize day trips to my home - a Masaai village in the Masai Steppe, to Rudungai hot springs south west of Moshi, to waterfalls on Mount Kilimanjaro, and much more. Because I freelance, I'm able to go off-road and show hosts parts of Kilimanjaro region that they wouldn't necessarily get to go to through tour companies
