Overview
About Me
I'm an open-minded person and in constant process of learning. My ground values are love for life, freedom and respect.
ERASMUS - 2016
I made my Erasmus in the beautiful city of Heidelberg and it turned my life upside down: I had the chance to meet amazing people, improve my german and to re-discover myself. Basically who I am today is a (fascinating) product of those enriching six months.
FUTURE (¿?)
Life has been a rollercoaster for the last six years. I have lived in three cities and two countries, while looking for my little place in this world. Currently, I am teaching German in Burgos (a small city in the North of Spain) and learning Basque. My goal for the next two years is to keep learning, in order to move to the Basque Country.
Let's see how that turns out... :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am a travel-lover and I really enjoy meeting new people from the cities where I go.
From my point of view, Couchsurfing offers the possibility to discover a city (even a country) from the perspective of a local, so you can become one of them for a while. I consider this of inmeasurable value.

Music, Movies, and Books
MUSIC: This may sound a bit basic, but I enjoy listening to all sorts of music. However, what I enjoy the most is listening to live music and dance to the rythms in a crowd. Jumping, dancing, and singing at the top of my lungs is just like therapy, you know what I mean? ;)
MOVIES: I find "Midnight in Paris" is a beautiful film. "The hours" is a film that changed my life. Literally.
BOOKS: "Rayuela" by Cortázar, is a fascinating book where the most chaotic mess is turned into beauty.
I also enjoy reading poetry: Hermann Hesse (Bitte/Kennst du das auch..), Benedetti, Miguel Hernández...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Heidelberg, going up the hill to Thingsätte with two of my most beloved friends in the rainy night with a lot of beer, wine and Apfelwein. We got lost and wet, but one of the best experiences of my Erasmus. I always tell this story and it still makes me smile when I remember :)
Teach, Learn, Share
New experiences shape us and make us grow. I can't stop seeking new places and people who widen my world perspective.
I love having conversations on all kinds of topics. Specially if the other person has a different opinion from mine and manages to change the way I perceive the world.
I think these kind of "discussions" benefits both parties and help us open our minds.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A nice, thought-provoking conversation. I am also a good listener, which is not that common in a country like Spain.
I can also try to cook a decent meal that we will enjoy while talking about our different experiences and perspectives of the world.
Company, at the end of the day, is everything we humans have.
