My name's Sharon, I'm from Zwolle, a city located in the Netherlands and I'll be starting my travelling days in August 2017!

Education:
I got my papers in marketing and communications-, event organization. I work throughout the country for big event-organization companies, gaining more experience in this branch everyday and loving every moment of it. Before my marketing and comm. studie, I studied (car) mechanic. My love for old cars brought me into that technical world. 🚗

Some handy facts about me:
- I'm licenced for first aid for adults and CPR and AED operator.
- Donated 35cm hair for a cancer foundation this year. (07/2017)
- Got my ICC (international certificate of competence). In other words and literally translated: boat licence.
- Motorcycle licence and a Yamaha Fazer 600cc of my own.

- Terrible at sitting still..

How my friends describe me:
Sharon, our hippie friend! She's very direct, friendly, enthusiastic and she is terrible at sitting still. She always needs something to do! Sharon is passionate about oldtimers, music and she absolutely enjoys the littlest things, thing's that often are taken for granted. She has a musical brain and will sing along with every song she knows, and thats quite a encyclopedia full. Sharon is a real networker and enjoys the company of other people. Networking is her job, so she is naturally good at making contact with people. With that, she is always surrounded by friends or family and values the time she has with them.

India:
My two- week trip in India was really interesting. Travelled there for a wedding and toured around India for a week and a half. The Taj Mahal is absolutely beautiful, Lord Krishna birthplace temple is mesmerizing, and Red Fort was also worthwhile the visit. Also a suggestion for travelers: go see the harmandir sahib (hari mandir) also known as the golden temple of india. We went there on the January 1st to pray for a good year. Visited many more places, too much to put on paper.

South-America:
My 3 month journey through a multiple countries there, started for a full month in Cuba. Beautiful country, quite the culture shock but worth seeing what was left of the old Cuba. When visiting Cuba, a must town to pay a visit to is Baracoa! Next up after Cuba: Southern Peru! One word: breathtaking! 💚
