I am originally from Eritrea, a small country in East Africa. I was born and raised there. I moved to India for 2 years when I was 14 and then moved to the U.S. (DC area) at the age of 16. I quit my job to travel last October. I travelled for about 4.5 months and went to Uganda, Jamaica, Cuba, and Mexico. I currently live in Miami and I love it! love adventures and meeting new interesting people while traveling. I'm easily amused and loves to laugh... A LOT. I'm a foodie 🍕🍤🍜🌮🍔🧀 I basically live on Nutella and I love beer! 🍻

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have never couch surfed before. I've recently started staying at hostels during my travels in the past few months and met many surfers. I've heard great things about couch surfing, it's something I would love to experience and I believe it's the best way to have a local experience and meet awesome people.

Interests

Hiking, reading, water activities like snorkeling, cliff jumping, paddle boarding, kayaking, etc., festivals, exploring local gems, drinking with limit, bone fires, sharing stories, knowing people, random unplanned adventures, listening to people playing the guitar and singing.

Music, Movies, and Books

MOVIES:
I'm not a movie person, I generally find them boring and I don't have the attention span to sit through a movie. I do watch SOME movies from time to time but it's very rarely. I'd rather be around people and talk to people.

MUSIC:
I love all music, whatever sounds good. I don't have a favorite artist or genre, it really depends on my mood. I like learning about different music and artists I don't know about.

BOOKS:
It's been a while since I've read but I generally like memoirs. I love learning about people and their stories and their lives. Everyone has a different story and I believe everyone is interesting in their own way.
