Overview
About Me
I live in a beautiful house with a garden in central Berlin, with my little son and two mad outdoor cats. I love inspiring company.
I love my home but I love travelling too. I've taken my little son to some fancy places in this world trying to get him accustomed to exploring the world off the beaten track. We've stayed in hotels, hostels, tents and we've couchsurfed - and it's been nothing short of amazing so far.
Every now and then I also set off by myself, curious for the experiences I will make and the people I'll meet.
I'm sure there's much more to come and I'm looking forward to it!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We all know that happiness is only real when shared. :)
I've already met quite a few beautiful souls on here and I'm so grateful this network exists. Here's to more inspiring encounters and lifetime memories!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Grew up in one of the remotest parts of East Germany and fond out about the fall of the Berlin Wall 24 hours late.
Hiked around Tobago back in the 90s when there was no through road and you had to pass through the thickest rain forest ever.
Cycled from Berlin to Hamburg ... the further I went on, the more it dawned on me why a pro had suggested doing the trip the other way round - I ended up with strong winds facing me the whole 430 km to Hamburg! Tough but amazing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a linguist. I'm always curious to find out about the worlds of people that speak a different language and have grown up somewhere else.
I've got three guitars, a djembe and a new piano at home. If that doesn't call for a jam session, then I don't know what will!
I used to be Berlin's youngest female taxi driver. So I may know the city a bit and may be able to give you some useful hints.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A pleasant experience together. I am very honest and open. I make a great long term friend too, something that goes beyond sharing a bit of time and stories.
