I would describe myself as curious, empathetic, and chronically deadpan. I also think it's hard to describe myself with keywords without it coming across as a bit lofty, so I'll leave it at that*.

I adore good conversation and genuine connections; the kind where you can skip right over the usual substanceless pleasantries and really feel like you're getting to know someone.

In others, I appreciate honesty, humor, and the right balance between carefreeness and care. Shared interests are a plus, but mine are so all over the place that we're bound to have some in common.

I find the concept of a network of people willing to share their time, themselves, and a place to sleep fundamentally intriguing. It's a testament to the best of humanity, and something I'd like to be a part of.
More directly, I'm on here because of an Interrail trip I undertook in 2018.
