Overview
About Me
Hi!!! My name is Julio and I'm a 22 years old unversity student from Granada, a city in the south of Spain. My major is Electronical Engineering and I like traveling.
Now I am Studying at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan, with an exchange program, so I´m learning a bit of Japanese, but actually I´m only able to speak english and spanish.
My main passion is traveling, I have been to the US,, most of the countries in Europe, Corea, Japan and Taiwan, usually as a volunteer or as a student.
However, while I´m not travelling (sadly most of the time) , I study full time at Granada´s University.
My hobbies are reading books, playing voleyball, basketball, scuba-diving of course, hiking and, sometimes I try to become an useful engineer.
I´m in love with food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Im on couchsurfing because a friend recomend me about it, and as I usually travel alone, it´s a nice way to meet new people from the country Im visiting, make good friends, and also share the citys I know with people they are also travelling.

Music, Movies, and Books
I usually listen to spanish pop-rock groups, or R&B, deep house, hip-hop. rock, or whathever I feel like listening to.
My favourite movies are "The last samurai", "Fight´s club" and "Into the wild", but I usually enjoy comedies a lot too.
As books, "The name of the wind" and " The three musketeers" are my favourite books without doubt. However, I am also in love with the "Trilogy of the century" and trilogy of Africanus..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think my greatest achivement was doing an Interrail when i was 15, travelling a big part of Europe with my best friend. This introduced me to the world of travelling.
Nah, just kidding, my biggest achievement was not food poisoning myself while cooking... (took a while).
Teach, Learn, Share
For sure I can show people about Spanish culture.
For sure I want to learn other people culture, as i think is the best way to understand a country.
