I was born and raised in the Chicago area. I left the Chicago area and moved to Boston, Massachusetts in '84. I have an apartment in Quincy, Massachusetts just outside of Boston. I have lived in Boston, and in a few places in Rhode Island and in Central Massachusetts, So, to sum up, I'm the typically well-adjusted (well, sort of, but who's not screwed up a little bit?) 58 year-old, twice divorced, NRA member, registered conservative (compassionate, no, really I am) Republican male from one of those Northeastern "Blue States".
