About Me

I recently dropped out of Uni -- I took 2 years of Translation and Interpretation at the Autonomous Univeristy of Barcelona, but it was really boring and I didn't feel like I was learning anything at all, so I decided to quit. I've spent the last 4 months living in Germany, in a guest family with 3 kids, trying to learn the language, come up with academic plans for next year, and doing loads and loads of ironing, cleaning, cooking, etc.

I like to draw, I like to paint, and I like learning new languages.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've already bought my ticket to the Fat Freddy's Drop gig -- there's no way I was missing on that! -- a concert that'll be taking place in Alexandra Palace, London, on 03/07/2016.

I don't want to spend too much money on my flight to or my stay in London, because -- DUH! -- I'm an au-pair/ student and I'm broke all the time -- so that's basically the reason why I signed up on this website.

I googled Alexandra Palace, and I found out that it's in the Muswell Hill - Wood Green area -- thanks to a Wikipedia article -- so I'm looking for a local in that area who can hook me up from July the 1st to July the 5th or so.

I love all kinds of music: From Heavy Metal, through Gangsta Rap, to Doo-Woop, Classical music, Mongolian throat singing, jazz, trip-hop, bossa nova, electro swing, hard rock, religious chants,techno-punk and electro...you name it.

My favorite writer is Aldous Huxley, and my favorite amongst his books is "A Brave New World." I also love Alan Moore and all of his comics.

My favorite movies are -- Network (1976), A bronx Tale, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, Braindead...the list goes on and on and I don't feel that much like writing about me at the moment.
