Mi nombre es Camila, 22 años. Soy chilena. Actualmente estoy cursando mi ultimo año de enfermería en la Universidad Mayor en Santiago de Chile donde vivo.
Practico poledance, escalada, snowboard y padel tennis. Me encanta el rafting y el trekking. Me gusta cocinar, mi especialidad son los dulces. Ademas soy fanática de la lectura, la música y el cine. Pero sobretodo me gusta viajar y conocer gente de muchas culturas distintas.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Toda mi familia es fanática de viajar, todos han realizado intercambios interculturales a distintos países. Yo he recibido y conocido muchos extranjeros en mi hogar y mi país desde que era una niña. Durante algunos veranos tuve la oportunidad de construir hogares a gente de pocos recursos en compañía de estudiantes de intercambio de AFS exchange student, donde conocí muchos amigos.
Me encantaría poder conocer y darles la bienvenida a mi país a los extranjeros y viajeros que pasen por el, conocerlos y hacer algo divertido. Actualmente vivo con mi hermano en un pequeño departamento por lo que es difícil poder recibir a alguien , pero estoy dispuesta a conocerlos y mostrarles la ciudad.

Por otro lado espero poder conocer nuevas personas durante mis viajes y si se sienten con la confianza de recibirme en su hogar me sentiría honrada.

My whole family is fanatical about traveling, all of them have made intercultural exchanges to different countries. I have received and known many foreigners in my home and my country since I was a child. During some summers I had the opportunity to build homes to people of few resources in the company of exchange students of AFS exchange student, where I met many friends.
I would love to meet and welcome my country to foreigners and travelers visiting Chile. I would like to meet them and do something fun together. At the moment I live with my brother in a small department so it is difficult to receive somebody, but I am ready to know them and to show them the city.

On the other hand I hope to meet new people during my travels and if they feel the confidence of receiving me at home I would feel honored.

Musica: Me encanta el rock, sobre todo el grunge. Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Queen, The doors, The beatles, etc. Tambien me gustan algunos grupos de pop, como Sia o Rihanna. De todo un poco. Algo increíble que he hecho

Durante el terremoto del año 2010 en mi país, tuve la oportunidad de colaborar con chilenos y extranjeros, mano a mano, en la reconstrucción del sur de Chile , durante 6 meses. Nunca sentí las fronteras tan diminutas.

Otro momento memorable fue cuando visite el lugar que considero el más bello de mi país: "La carretera Austral" , jamas vi tantas estrellas, escuche tanto silencio ni sentí tanta naturaleza.

During the earthquake of 2010 in my country, I had the opportunity to collaborate with Chileans and foreigners, hand in hand, in the reconstruction of southern Chile, for 6 months. I never felt the borders so tiny.

Another memorable moment was when I visited the place that I consider the most beautiful in my country: "The Austral Road", I never saw so many stars, I heard so much silence and felt so much nature.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

Soy buena contando historias y escuchándolas, me encantaría compartir experiencias y enseñar español o sobre mi país. También puedo enseñar algo de cocina chilena o puedo cocinar algún dulce.

I am good at telling stories and listening to them, I would love to share experiences and teach Spanish or about my country. I can also teach some Chilean cuisine or I can cook some sweet.
