About Me
Hey there,
My name is Sam. For the last two years I've been working as an outdoor educator and living on an island in the Boston Harbor that is an Outward Bound Center. The island closes in the winter so I am slowly making my way around the country with my friend, Caroline, who also works on the island. I am a musician and an educator and eventually plan on teaching if and when I become career minded.
I also am an aspiring musician and played my first show this past New Year's Eve
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to learn about communities from people that actually live there. This is my first time west of Texas, I have a tight budget, but I'm not letting that stop me.
I look forward to hosting when I'm in a position to do so :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Music! Love it and need it
Books: Hermann Hesse, Khalil Gibran, Paolo Cuehlo..any recommendations?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm amazed on most days by both the ordinary and extraordinary
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach games, all kinds of games. I can also show you some cowboy chords on my guitar and how to use copper wire to make pendants.
I love to learn from people and listen to their stories.
I'll share whatever I have in the car, that can usually be a veggie meal and maybe some wine or whiskey.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Only if asked, I like to sing songs and smile. Food and drink will also be shared. If you would like to share a meal let's do it!
Countries I’ve Visited
China, Ethiopia, Germany, Guatemala, Malawi, Mexico, Peru, United States
