I'm a very positive and happy girl from Denmark. Right now I'm travelling in Australia and intend to stay here for 6-12 months.
I'm always fond of meeting new people and having interesting, challenging conversations and especially learning a lot about other cultures and religions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have been travelling since the end of December. Since February I've been travelling on my own, because I want to meet new people, as I think this is an important part of travelling.
I made my profile on couchsurf with the purpose of finding locals and other travellers to hang out with, and maybe stay with. Now, 8 months later I'm convinced that I will be hosting other travellers, when I'm back in Denmark again, to give back as well. (And to keep meeting awesome backpackers!)

Interests

I'm an active person, who loves nature and wildlife. I enjoy running, bicycling, hiking and trekking, especially in the nature or out of touristed areas.
I always try to do what is right - for my health, for others, for the environment etc. But to do this, you have to learn about other cultures, religions, science, ethics and to be as open-minded as possible. I will often try to see things from others perspective or in the bigger picture :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I always travel with at least one book, and when I finish it, I will swap it to a new one at a hostel. I like Dan Brown and his universe of professor Robert Langdon. I also like Peter Singer and his philosophical books. I've been reading his book "Ethics in the real world"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing must be to convince myself to leave Denmark and travel on my own.
Besides I've been climbing Mt. Fuji, snorkelling with huge manta rays, skydiving in cairns and swimming with reef sharks.

Teach, Learn, Share

For me, the key of travelling is meeting people. You will always be able to learn and teach new things, to share advice and experiences and of course to have fun.
