I am still somewhat new to Couchsurfing, but it seems like an awesome oppotunity to meet people and share experiences and opinions!
I am a mechanical engineer working in the renewable energy sector. I love climbing, beachvolley, hiking and especially diving 😄

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing for two main reasons:
1. Whenever I travel, I want to meet the people who lives there. This gives the most authentic impression of the local customs and culture, and on top of that they can often steer you towards all the greatest spots and adventures, which aren't just "tourist-traps".
2. The less money you spend on accomodation the further you can go and the more you can experience.

I listen to a lot of different genres and some of my current favorites are: Connor Price, Lewis Capaldi, Linkin Park, Jack Johnson and 3 Doors Down.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2013 me and a friend traveled for 5 months together and on that journey we got to swim with about 150 wild dolphins in New Zealand. That was one of the most amazing things I have ever tried, since they are not trained and it was up to us to draw their attention. Just incredible to be so close to something that pure and natural.
