Hi, my name is Célia, I am 18 YO and I like to travel because it provides new experiences and offers new opportunities to discover yourself and also discover the world around you. As you might guess, I've not been traveling alone for a long time. I've been living in Dublin, Ireland for 4 months and now I'm in Toronto for 5 months. This is only to study English. I was living in a host family in Dublin which has been revealed to be such a powerful & amazing expericience that I've decided to do the same in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on counchsurfing because I'd like to travel and not only I'd like to travel but I'd like to meet the locals. I think that meeting the locals helps me to understand the culture and experience new food, new habits and stuff. I find it more interesting and intriguing than going in an hotel.

Music, Movies, and Books

I really like watching movies & series. I especially adore the ones which are mind-blowing and thoughts provoking because I like to think a lot on the world's issues, the people's issues and how the future will be. I like thinking and share my point of view in a pacific and adult conversation. That's also why I like to travel : to discover cultures by my own eyes and see how the people's mind can be different. I mainly watch action movies but I also like the ones produced by other countries than the US and see what and how they show the world.
Concerning books, I've read a lot of French literature but I'm not such of a reader ahah I prefer movies & series. Concerning music, I don't play an instrument but I like to listen to people who are playing because they're sharing something and I like the sound of the piano or the guitar. What's more, it creates a good atmosphere between people ahah.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is decide to go abroad for 9 months to study english. OK in still on it but I don't regret that decision.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my culture, my thoughts ahah. I like to talk a lot so it really depends on the person ahah. I could even cook some of my native meals or make people listen to my native music, or talk about my country. There's a lot of thongs to share!
