I'm Violet. In real life I am a driven, studious uptight sort of person but in my soul of souls I am a wanderer. I took the plunge into full scale travel and adventure over the last few years and fell in love with everything especially how been out and alone in the world dragged out the gigantic stick I had up my ass. Other things I love almost as much as travel are reading, biking, dancing (badly), sometimes drinking, and just inhaling as much life as I can get.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

With all my previous travel I have stayed at hotels or Airbnbs and most of them have felt a bit soulless. On here, I hope to meet people through their comfy couches (and mine) and find ways to connect and give back in a manner that isn't too mercenary.

I am a fantastic cook which is an easy skill to be taught.
I would like to learn French properly and learn how to play any musical instrument.
