I love riding my motorcycle, reading, writing, hiking, snowboarding, and just being outside at all. I'm super easy going. I got a BA in anthropology from Colorado State University in 2014, and moved to Steamboat to figure out my next move. As of now I have lots of plans, but none of them concrete. The only idea I keep coming back to is to see as much of the world as possible in the time I have! I have always loved traveling and my next trip is Romania this autumn!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like going off the beaten path, and the best way to do that is with someone who knows the general area. I've met so many cool people in the most random ways while traveling, and I'm looking to take that randomness and turn it into organized chaos. I like making last minute plans and flying by the seat of my pants!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock and roll, but I'll listen to pretty much anything. A solid guitar solo is a straight path to my heart. I'm also a complete cinephile. Movies and television are amazing. I love reading, mostly fiction, but I have a soft spot in my heart for music biographies. Anything that tells a story is right up my ally. Fiction is a way to understand reality. Sometimes dragons help with understanding. I love talking about music, movies, and books so please ask! We'll be here for a while!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I bought and fixed up a 1983 Yamaha motorcycle that I am still in love with and working on. It's a labor of love, and by that, I mean it's high maintenance. If anyone has any advice I'd love to hear it.
