Hey there! My name is César Lira, I'm 22 and I'm a gay (libra, if you believe these things!) guy from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On my last year as an undergraduate in International Relations! I've been teaching English for the past 5 years (so if you need lessons...!) and have been working at an NGO for the past 2!

I'm incredibly flexible. I love anything from meditating and being around nature (waterfalls are my fav place in the world!) to going out with my friends for drinks at a calm bar/cafeteria and even to dance all night at a club! Anything excites me if I have the right people around me.

I spend most of my time smiling, laughing and/or talking, so you could say I'm pretty much the Brazilian stereotype chill and happy guy! Nothing (but prejudice against LGBT+, women, blacks or any minority) bothers me.

Extremely outgoing and talkative! Not to be mistaken for immaturity. I've been working since I was 17 and any of my friends could say how much of a workaholic I can be sometimes. For the past 2 years I have coordinated a social project in a Swedish-Brazilian Shelter (Queen Silvia's Shelter, an NGO for pregnant women who are victims of domestic and sexual violence) which aimed at preventing male violence. I left the coordination to come to Belgium for an Erasmus experience!
I have also been active in political protests and have given speeches for LGBTIQ rights in Rio. So one could say I have many stories to tell and experiences to share!

I can teach English and Portuguese. I can (try to) teach you how to meditate and we can meditate together! I can show you (and teach how to dance to) any Brazilian music style (samba, forró, funk, axé...), cause I'm quite a dancer haha. I can make you caipirinhas (if you have cachaça!) and Brazilian dishes (even though I'm not a brilliant cook) and most of all I can make you laugh and have a good time!
