I am a very laid back individual that enjoys to to explore and follow the flow of adventure. Music and the arts are a very integral part of my life and I derive a great deal fulfillment from partaking in both. I love to read and write, I do freelance writing and editing to occupy my time during the week and make some income in the process. I love meeting new people and gaining new perspectives of my fellow inhabitants of this wild world. I like to believe that I have a good sense of humor and can make people smile, and maybe even laugh at an anecdote or joke I share. Life is about experience for me, although not all experiences are pleasant, I like to think I walk away from each one with more knowledge and wisdom.

I am couchsurfing because I like to meet people and formulate new relationships. I find this site to be fantastic because it can link a traveler with a local who can provide the traveler with an inside peak of the "real" city from local's view. I want to explore places that are new and exciting to me, while also being able to do it on a finite budget, and this offers me that chance to go on an adventure while holding to my limited finances. I hope to also be a host when I am rooted somewhere, wherever that may be, and provide the same kind genuine hospitality I received to my fellow travelers!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I spent a month and half in Tuscany, Italy on an organic farm harvesting olives. I prepared the trees for harvest cutting away the thick brush surrounding the trees with only a sickle and hand saw. Harvested the olives climbing the trees and removing the olives by hand. Then once all the olives were gathered for the season pressed them and made fantastic extra virgin olive oil! This may not sound amazing to others, but the experience and people that meet from this is the most amazing thing for me! I gained an insight on life that inspired me, and I will always cherish those hours spent alone high up in an olive tree gazing out at the Tuscan sunset spilling over the mountains knowing that there is no other place in this great big world where I would rather be. True Amazement was felt in that moment.

I love to share stories, one of my favorite things to do is listening to a good story as well as share one. I believe that I can converse with a lot people in a meaningful way. I love cooking so sharing food is a definite must. I draw quite often so I would love to leave a little piece that I created behind for the host. Most importantly I can share my positive energy!
