Overview
About Me
I am a very active woman from Switzerland. I love sports such as running, hiking and skiing, and of course travelling. I am someone friendly, easygoing and funny who likes to get to know new people, their culture and history. I enjoy solo travelling. I need a balance between meeting new people and socializing and recharging my batteries by being alone. I love to learn new languages and other skills.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Travelling has been my passion for a very long time and since I am 18 years old I love travel to new countries and get to know new people. First it was only in Europe, and now also a bit further. Language and cultural exchange can bring out amazing friendships.
In 2025 I am making my dream come true: A gap year to travel around the world, as a solo backpacker. I have already spent 6 months in South America and I loved it so far.

Interests
I have been skiing since I am 3 years old and this year I managed to sandski in the dunes in Peru. Also, I have been running for almost 10 years, participating in many halfmarathons and 2 marathons. I am part of a runclub, which I consider my family. Switzerland is known for mountains and lakes but a few years ago I started to learn how to surf, I am still a beginner at this very moment.
And one year ago I got my certification for diving.

Teach, Learn, Share
I think the purpose of our life is to do what we love and love what we do and live a life, which truly makes us happy. When I was 20 years old I moved to the French part of Switzerland to live the life which fits best to me. I improved my French (now my second mother tongue) and pursued a career which I like. It has been challenging but totally worth it.
If you treat me well I will treat you well. I am always trying to be positive about any situation. Politness and mutual respect is key. Karma: what you give you get back
I believe in the "growth mindset" and try to get better every day. I am interested in personal development. I love to learn from each other and situations in life and not specifically from books.
I am a volunteer: when I was 18 I worked in an Irish national park for two weeks in the purpose of environmental protection. This year I was volunteering for four weeks in a Spanish school in Cusco, Peru, as a student coordinator. And I hope I can do other missions during my travels.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Practice languages: French, German English. To show you my cooking skills and I know a lot about nutrition, help around the flat/house, doing a yoga/streching meditation session. I am a very good listener. Also I possess very good organization skills in travels, work and everyday life.
