As an international cosmopolitan girl whom has travelled her entire youth, i feel compelled to see and meet as many people as I can around the globe. As I am doing a creative study, it is my duty to express myself through the lens of my camera and illustrations. I'm a dreamer, and will stop doing what I'm doing to smell the flowers.

Compassion, Acceptance, and Unconditional love for life are of foremost importance to me.

I was born in Tokyo, Japan and moved to Italy at age 3. After 5 years, my parents and I moved to back to Japan where I lived for 6 more years before we would eventually go back to Europe (Barcelona, Amsterdam, Leiden). My nationality is originally Dutch yet I feel like a whirlpool of cultures and wouldn't define myself as a dutch citizen. I have constantly been moving around the globe as my parents invested all their savings in showing their children as many cultures and environments as they could. I could never be more greatful for my youth.
This has made me a very flexible, adjustable, understandable and balanced person.

My admiration for Japan, it's culture, people, nature and art is inevitable.
When I had left the country at age 11 to go to Spain, I felt like i was leaving part of myself behind. It feels like I have never properly said goodbye.

On the 22nd of April i will be travelling to Japan after more than 10 years, to visit my childhood pearls. I define this as a self-searching trip.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I feel like "Couchsurfing" is the best and most interesting way to experience different environments. I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
As I am a student it is also the most adequate way for me to travel around.
