Hi! My name is Cécile, I'm French and have lived in Lyon for most of my life.
I love traveling... I spent two years in Asia and New Zealand in my twenties, exploring, WWOOFing and working. These past 2 years I've traveled a lot... To Scotland several times... on a round-the-world trip through Bali, Australia, Hawaii and Québec... and last fall to Québec again and the US. I love road trips and hiking in wild places and open landscapes... Can't wait to go back!

In terms of languages, I work as a translator so I'm fluent in English. I also know a little Russian and Spanish.

My flat is really small so I can't host for now... but I'll be glad to show you around beautiful Lyon.
I love meeting new people, going for drinks on a terrace or jamming with a guitar by the river...

Nature, ecology, plants, gardening, forests, native cultures, languages, prehistory, walking in the wild and most outdoors activities usually take turns at the top of the list.

Watching the night skies on top of Mauna Kea in Hawaii, also at MacDonald's Observatory in the Davies Mountains in Texas
Spending time in a caravan in the ghost town of Terlingua, Texas, in the middle of the desert...
Huddling in my room in Darwin, Australia while a cyclone was raging overhead... Being terrified of the horrible "salties" throughout my visit to the Top End!
