About Me
Hi :) My name is Michelle and I'm excited to join the couch surfing community! I was born in Canada, to West Indian parents, and grew up in and around New York City. I recently moved back to my city of birth, Toronto, Canada.
I worked in the financial industry for many years but now work odd jobs that are lower pay but much more flexible and fulfilling. I'm spending 3 months in Asia before returning home.
I LOVE outdoor activities, especially dragon boating and kayaking, and love eXtreme sports! I enjoy cooking and spending time with friends and family. I am accepting of all lifestyles and am part of the LGBTQ+ community. I am in recovery and do not drink alcohol.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have been very shy for most of my life, but have become stronger, bolder and more outgoing with age. I decided to start enjoying life and fulfilling my bucket list, which of course includes traveling!
I enjoy meeting new people and learning about various cultures and perspectives. I think this will only help me grow as a person. When I get back to Toronto, I am happy to help return the favor. I'm thrilled to have found such a positive and kind community and hope to spreading love and kindness and good vibes.
