Hey there! My life revolves pretty much about music, I am a jazz pianist and a piano teacher. I teach kids from age 6-14 in a private music school in Reykjavík where I live. I play a fair amount of different gigs around Reykjavík, many dinner gigs in hotels and cafés and such.

I own an apartment in central Reykjavík, where I live with two girls, so I am used to sharing a home :) Been vegetarian for 2 years but recently I am leaning more towards veganism so tips for finding veggie food in a new city is appreciated!

I like hiking, drinking coffee, drinking wine and having long conversations on interesting subjects. I like to go out dancing. I like a lot of things.

Because I love meeting new people. I have friends who have been hosting people and travelling with couchsurfing and have loved it. So I am very excited to try!

I also have been travelling alone lately and to my surprise discovered how much of a people-person I am! Although I like my space, I missed having someone to talk to face to face.

My favorite jazz musicians are Bill Evans, Esbjörn Svenson and Kenny Wheeler. Electropop singer/songwriter Susanne Sundfør is also a favorite. To name more: Fleetwood Mac, Beyoncé and pretty much all 90´s hiphop/RnB!

My favorite movie is Shawshank Redemption.
