Hello everyone!

My name is Kristýna and I'm living in Prague, Czech Republic for my entire life. I'm a law student at Charles University. I have been travelling with my boyfriend Thomas (https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/thomas-mirschitzka) these past few years. We live together along with our daughter Amálie (09/18). And we are looking forward to start travelling again, this time with Amálie. Can't wait to show her the world.

I always hated those "what kind of person are you" questions. Always seemed to me that everyone is going to say the same old things. So just to keep the cliché going I'm fun, friendly and open-minded. Just kidding. If you want to get to know me I guess you must host me or let me host you.

I recently discovered that I can no longer identify with my "old profile", so I had to rewrite it. Still the same person but had to leave out the party part though. I guess it takes an effort to be yourself after kids, but I try my best. I still try to be active.
Some days I prefer to be by myself and some days I really like having company. I enjoy a quiet evening spent playing a cardgame, boardgame or watching a movie or an episode of favourite serie. But I can also enjoy a night out with my friends. This goes for me as a host and a surfer. The best scenario for me is hosting a travellers who have their own program and are available to share a meal or play a game in the evening. I might be able to make some time during the day for a walk/museum/restaurant or whatever, but do not expect me giving a tour and show you around the city itself as I don't usually know till last minute what my plans are. So if you are looking for someone who is always with you, just keep looking. And it also goes the other way around. I'm an independent traveller, I don't expect you to walk me around either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always thought that meeting people and getting to know their culture is part of the experience. And couchsurfing just made that simple!
And to be honest, we all here are travelling on budget 😁

Interests

I love travelling. I spend most of my free time hanging out with my boyfriend and friends. And I'm starting to realize that I just can't come up with something that hasn't already been said. Long story short I enjoy many things so if you have an activity you want to propose/try just tell me. I'm up to (pretty much) everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

To generalise I'm a rock fan, but obviously it is not that simple. So Muse, The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, The Black Keys, The Pretty Reckless, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Elvis Presley, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, John Lennon, Frank Sinatra just to name few.
I started to listen to vinyl records and having my own collection. Vinyl just sound better!!

I'm more of a TV series fan. I may have seen a billions of series of all kinds. I also have a thing for british series (Black Books, Father Ted, Black Adder, IT Crowd, Coupling, Friday Night Dinner and many many more!). My all times favourites (excluding the british ones): House of Cards, Game of Thrones, Suits, Shameless, Breaking Bad, Narcos, Orange Is the New Black, American Horror Story, This is us, Better cal Saul, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother.

I don't always have enough time to read a book (if you don't count a law text books) but there are a few books I would definitely read again: The Great Gatsby, Of Mice and Men, Animal Farm, The Stranger.
