About Me

Sue Anne

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Hey there! I'm a (languages and linguistics major) student travelling in Italy for the summer.
I would like to improve my Italian , meet new people and get to know the Italian culture better.
I'm looking for someone that would like to host me and show me around the bel paese.
I would be glad to do a culture and language exchange (I also speak fluent English, Malay and Chinese).
I think it's great to have intercultural communications with others because it offers me an opportunity to expand my world view.
p.s. I'm not verified because I'm on a tight student budget. 😅
Cheers!

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: Nearly all genres but my fav would be Quentin Tarantino
For books, I like reading fiction, non-fiction, biography, scandinavian crime etc. Favourite author would be Khaled Hosseini.
I love reggaeton, pop punk, alternative rock, jazz, edm.
Basically lots of genres depending on my mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I volunteered to teach English in a rural village full of native aborigine children in Pahang who are less fortunate because they lack the opportunity for education/ a conducive learning environment. I was there for a month. It was a great experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love cooking and baking. I could teach some Malaysian recipes and cuisines. Besides, I would be glad to lend a hand to those who are learning English, Malay and Chinese. I would like to experience different cultures, go sight seeing and meet up with new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Language and cultural exchange. Besides, I don't mind doing some house chores in exchange for food and accommodation.

Countries I’ve Visited

Singapore, Thailand

Countries I’ve Lived In

Malaysia
