Well, my name's David and I'm from the United States. I was born and raised in New Jersey, right across the river from New York City, and I lived there for almost half of my life, When I also live in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for almost 7 years and I can without a doubt say that it is the most beautiful place in the world, I recommend everyone to go at some point in their life since it's a mesmerizing and beautiful place. Currently I live in Tampa, Florida which is where I go to school at. I'm attending the University of South Florida seeking a degree in Global Finance.

Florida is a beautiful place with so much to do and so much nature to explore. The whole state is surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches you've ever seen and the weather is amazing (if you don't mind a little heat that is haha). Currently I'm doing an exchange program at the University of Exeter and so far England and the rest of Europe has been a blast.

A little about my hobbies and what I like to do. To me anything relating to the water and the ocean is where my heart lies. I'm an avid surfer and have been doing it for many years already. I started doing when I was just a kid and it was love at first sight and it has become a huge part of my life! I'm also a certified scuba diver which I just recently got certified last year and it has been a breathtaking experience seeing the underwater world though my own eyes. I will be the first guy to recommend going to the beach at any time, the beach and the ocean are my second home and I can never see myself away from it for too long.
Also another hobby of mine, is DJing. I've been DJing for about five years now and it has been really awesome. I love music, so to be able to play to a crowd of people and see them enjoy my music is such an awesome experience, also it's a good way to make some extra cash and it's one of my two jobs in which I currently have; the other job is as a cashier for Target.

Personally I'm very chill and laid back guy (at least that's what my friends tell me haha). I try in get a long with everyone and anyone and you well probably always see me either laughing or smiling since I base my life on the motto of living everyday as it were your last, cliche I know haha, but it's true. Also as many of my friends have told me, I talk A LOT, so the minute your start a conversation with me, be warned cause it's probably gonna be a conversation from anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 hours, which I love. I love talking to people about everything and anything.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

The reason I'm on Couchsurfing, is mainly to get to know people, especially locals who can give me an in depth knowledge on the area. Traveling is something that has been imbedded in me since I was little, and to be able to do it while meeting people form all over the world is such an amazing thing. I'm currently new to Couchsurfing being that I just recently found out about it, so I can't wait to start using it and meeting new people.

I also love watching TV shows, some of my favorites are: Supernatural, Dexter, Narcos, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Family Guy, Luther, Bob's Burger, etc.

Uma Coisa Incrível que Eu Fiz

One of the things that I'm most proud of doing, is working with kids with special needs. I've worked with three organizations closely in regards to this; one is called Hang Ten for Autism which is where you teach kids with autism how to surf, I've worked with Surfers for Autism which is a similar organization as Hang Ten but it's a much bigger and known event, and I've worked with Buddy Baseball which is a organization in Tampa, Florida where kids with special needs play in a baseball league and we coach them.

I've been teaching people to surf for almost 4 years already, so if that's something that you've been wanting to do, I'm your man haha. I've also taught some people how to DJ too, some which have gone to have their own gigs and make money off it.

Being that I'm a very curious person, I'm always open to learn new stuff, anything form cooking new dishes, to learning to hobbies, to new languages.
