From Kerry. Working in Kilrush a few days a week with some dolphins. I am currently doing a renovation job on my grandmother's old country house outside Tralee. It's only 5 minutes from the town but you're really in the countryside! Tralee is a nice base to explore Kerry from if you fancy it. If you're good at gardening or DIY jobs you're more than welcome. I have done a bit of travelling myself and now I am looking to give a roof to those doing the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting travelers. My great-grandmother used to let wandering people sleep in her barn for a night or two and would feed them anything she had. I like the idea of doing something similar. But don't worry, the barn is long gone!

I like most music. Listening to a lot of traditional Irish bands at the moment like Planxty and Moving Hearts. Heavy metal, rap, Classical. All good.

Books - History and novels. I wish I read more of course.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A bit of comfort in the countryside. I have a nice reading room where you can chill out and light a fire if you want. There is a greenhouse that I try and upkeep which you can help me with! I am always looking for inspiration with the house so any ideas to make the place more homely are welcome too.
