Overview
About Me
My name is Işık. I’m someone who values warmth, kindness, and authentic connection.
I’ve lived in different countries and cultures, and each place has taught me something about openness and sharing. Meeting new people, listening to their stories, and creating a sense of home wherever I am makes me happy.
I enjoy hosting friends, sharing good food, and welcoming people with a sincere heart. For me, hospitality is not a duty … it is a joy. If we meet, I hope we both leave the moment a little richer, a little lighter.
Everyone is welcome.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to meet people whose paths cross mine for a reason … to share kindness, stories, and a little light along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music that creates atmosphere… jazz, world music, soft electronic sounds and anything that touches the heart.
I enjoy films with depth, beautiful storytelling and human connection.
I’m also drawn to books about consciousness, philosophy, inner journeys and different cultures.
In general… anything that expands my world or opens the heart becomes my favorite.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I’ve lived in different countries and somehow managed to create a sense of “home” wherever I was.
For me, that’s the most surprising and beautiful thing I’ve done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share meditation, mindfulness, inner journey experiences and deep conversations about life.
I’m also happy to talk about basic yoga, breath awareness, and the tensegrity ideas from Carlos Castaneda.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A warm atmosphere, good conversations, stories, a cup of tea or coffee, simple home-cooked food, and a peaceful space to relax.
I love creating a calm, kind and welcoming environment for guests.
