Hi there, first off thanks for reading my Bio.
What I like most is just to hang out with people, grab a drink and just talk.
Be it good or bad stories everyone has one to tell and his or her own way to tell it.
As for me, I always wanted to do something exciting that's why I decided to go to Japan this September.
Because I like the country but also as a way to just go do my own thing for a while, to figure stuff out.
Hopefully I'll get some good stories out of it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up in Vught and basicly lived here all my life. Because I turned 25 and never really went out into the wide world I thought to myself: "Before I settle down I have to get out there and see what its like".
Also Japan was on top of my list of countries where I wanted to go. Not just because of the Anime culture, I also like studying the language and joined a blogging team to write about the culture, history, food and various forms of art. I hope to connect with various locals and get something more out of it than just a long vacation, hopefully I'll make lots of friends in the proces.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Music: Definitely 80's Rock. Gives me a nostalgic feel and all.
Movies: I always liked the Grudge series (呪怨)
Books: I've read a lot of sci-fi novels but I really have to get back into reading.
Games: Most JRPG's. So Persona, Final Fantasy that stuff. Also Fighting games.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Graduated my Master's at the University.
Went star gazing with friends in the biggest sand dune of Europe.
Also did star gazing at a river bank at a bon fire.
Went to lots of events with friends and we would always have a lot of fun.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm still learning Japanese. As for teaching, I have a long way to go if I ever want to do that.
