Overview
About Me
Hey, everyone! My name is Nina and I was born and live my whole in the capital of my motherland - Kiev. As most of Ukrainians I am bilingual, I speak fluent Russian and Ukrainian. For my daily life I use Russian language more, but I still enjoy conversing on Ukrainian very much. I also able to speak English. I enjoy learning foreign languages, but currently I picked up only one due to my busy way of living. I enjoy dancing and different kind of sports. Since my early teens I do sabre fencing. I already have a lot of achievements and my ambitions force me to strive for higher results. I am addicted to fencing in both good and bad meanings of this word. Also for me fencing is not only about sport, it's about traveling and meeting new people as well (almost like CS :-)), you can even call it some kind of lifestyle.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's exciting way of meeting new interesting people, discover their culture and definitely it's the coolest way of breaking social stereotypes about people who live abroad (both foreigners and fellow citizens). Also, I am not very experienced traveler and CS one of the social medias that would help me to see more places around the globe.

Music, Movies, and Books
One of my favorite bands is Thirty Seconds To Mars - I went to the their concert once and it was terrific, if I ever have the opportunity to visit their concert again - be sure I won't miss it ;)
I adore front-man of TSTM Jared Leto <3
He is amazing singer and actor. Love to watch every single movie starring Leto. Last summer I watched Suicide Squad where he plays Joker, I enjoyed it very much besides all the negative critiques and reviews on the movie itself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I knew plenty of stuff about sport fencing, probably you can ask me something about it.
I also can tell you where to go in Kiev, I know my hometown pretty well, so my suggestions to you would be more than competent.
