Shin Mi Sik (申美植)

Born at Songtan, Gyeonggi-do in 1962.
Shin Mi Sik is a documentary photographer in Republic of Korea.
He is happy to live as a photographer. He is living more unique life than
any other person by traveling more than 120 countries and spending more than
half of a year in a strange place meeting strange people. Shin Mi Sik let people,
who live common life, dream of specialness by his dynamic photographs and writings,
which wake up the travel instinct of people. He majored in graphic design at
university. He had a camera at the age of 30 for the first time and started
photographing at the age of 31 traveling all over the world. His writings and photographs,
as a freelance photographer, were published in various media.
He published 28 books and had more than 10 times of individual exhibitions.
