I’m an open-minded and relaxed person. I really like the challenge of travelling on low budget (Couchsurfing and Hostels). Who needs a 5 star resort with the same budget you can tour Italy for 3 weeks with, right!? I like good conversations with strangers because there is instantly so much to talk about. Even ephermal relationships can become lifetime memories as I have experienced on earlier travels.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

To travel and meet anyone! I think couch surfing is the ultimate way to travel, because it's very social and doesn't evolve around money but around connections and experiences. I very happy to see there are still such communities nowadays!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I have a huge affinity with music which started at a young age, when I discovered my dad's records.
I've played clarinet for 10 years and picked up the drums when I was 13. I'm in a band and we write our own songs, regularly playing at small venues in our town or elsewhere. I appreciate all sorts of music, but my preference goes out to 'harder' genres such as grunge and early metal/hardrock. I think every genre is to be appreciated in its own way as its a cultural reflection of the zeitgeist.

I currently work at a concert hall downtown. I organize events and concerts and make sure everything goes as planned. The music industry is definitely a branche I want to make a career in. So yeah, music is my greatest passion!

I've toured throughout Europe over 3 different interrail trips. I got my motorcycle driving license 2 years ago and ride everyday of the week. Toured through the Alps a couple of times. My dream goal is to ride all the way from the Netherlands to South Africa once in my life.
