Hi! I'm Violeta. I'm studying Biology at the university in Madrid. Now, I'm doing an Erasmus in Hasselt (Belgium), that it is an amazing experience to know the education and the way of life in Belgium. Also, it is an opportunity to travel around the world and meet new people, which is very rewarding.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I friend recommend me. I love making new friends in the cities where I'm visiting, because it's a way to know better the city.
Last summer, a friend and I did two CS in France (Toulouse and Biarritz) and I had the chance to meet amazing people who are open minded and very funny.
- In Toulouse, we stayed with Gabrielle who is working in a biology lab, so we had may conversation because we shared interest.
- In Biarritz, we stayed with Yoan who was a fantastic host, we did many activities together and he introduced us to the vasque culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always listening to music. Every day I need to listen to music because it makes me happy. I like pop-rock spanish music, but english and american music too. Also, I listen to french music because I've a french friend who show me the music that she likes.
I love watching tv shows and films. When I've time I try to fllow several tv shows like skam (norwegian), orphan black, sense 8... In the week-end I watch films because it's my free moment.
Now, I'm reading science and mystery books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 16 years-old. I did an exchange with a french person to improve my french and she wanted to improve her spanish. Now, we're friends and we try to see every summer.
Also, last year I did a workaway in Leeds. I was helping to a single woman with cleaning and daily jobs. There, I met new people and I learnt something new about all of them.
This summer, I claped a sunset in Finisterre (Galicia).

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some spanish. I would like to improve my english or to know any other language.
I studyed French whan I was in the school, but I forgot almost everything, for that reason I wouldn't care to remember my french :)
