About Me

Hello World !

Hey there! I’ve always embraced a dynamic and communal lifestyle—spending six years in a boarding school with seven roommates and then backpacking across Australia and New Zealand for four years. During my travels, I worked in farmwork, construction, and sales (selling solar panels), and I even had the opportunity to work at an embassy. Now, I’m an online student in cybersecurity, aspiring to become a digital nomad in the next few years.

I love meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and immersing myself in different cultures. I prefer the road less traveled, seeking out authentic experiences beyond tourist hotspots. Whether it’s wandering through hidden neighborhoods, sharing meals with locals, or having deep discussions about world geopolitics, I’m always eager to learn and explore.

I enjoy connecting with open-minded people, sharing great conversations, and making unforgettable memories. If you’re up for spontaneous adventures, cultural exchanges, or just a good laugh, let’s connect!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Throughout my travels, I’ve slept just about everywhere—hotels, hostels, night trains, guest houses, tents, and even hammocks. Each experience has shaped my journey in a unique way, but now I feel it’s time to try something new.

Couchsurfing isn’t just about finding a place to stay—it’s about connecting with people, sharing cultures, and experiencing destinations from a local’s perspective. I’m excited to meet open-minded travelers and hosts, exchange stories, and create unforgettable memories together.

Music, Movies, and Books

First off, concerning my taste in music, I’d say it depends on where I am. If I’m on a tropical beach, I’d go for some reggaeton or Cuban music (by the way, Cuban Spanish is my favorite Spanish-speaking accent—it sounds so elegant to me). If I’m running or doing another physical activity, I prefer rap or G-funk, like Nate Dogg, DMX, Mobb Deep, or Ice Cube.

I’m not a huge movie watcher—I don’t even have a Netflix subscription (though I should probably get one). I used to play a dangerous cowboy as an extra in the TV show Sweet Tooth. In addition, I played a merchant in a fresh market scene in Aquaman 2. I got to see Jason Momoa perform two roles at the same time—he was, of course, the protagonist and also heavily involved in the filmmaking process.

Nonetheless, I’m a huge comedy show enthusiast—I’ve been to the stadium to see some big comedy acts live.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve had was in Queenstown, New Zealand, on the South Island. I took a helicopter ride across the Kiwi Alps, and it was absolutely mind-blowing. The scenery was beyond anything I could’ve imagined sompe snow-capped mountains, crystal-clear lakes, and vast green valleys stretching as far as the eye could see.

What made it even more special was that I was seated right next to the pilot! The view from up there was surreal, and I was completely speechless the entire time. Flying so close to the towering peaks, it felt like I was in a movie. It was one of those moments where you’re just in awe of the world’s beauty, and you realize how small you are in it.

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing I, absolutely love to share is cooking! My favorite dish to make is ceviche, a flavorful Peruvian dish that’s perfect for any occasion. It typically features fresh fish marinated in citrus, paired with vegetables like onions, cilantro, and a touch of chili for a kick. I’d be more than happy to prepare it for you and teach you how to make it if you're up for it. Cooking together is one of the best ways to bond ! :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe in creating a genuine connection, so I’m always ready to share stories from my travels, interesting conversations, and a bit of humor. One thing I bring to every new place I visit is my positive attitude. I believe in making the most of every situation,
