我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've heard about Couchsurfing from friends and have heard of their amazing stories of making friends from the local communities. This is something I would love to experience during my first solo trip. I've actually attended one gathering put together by Couchsurfers in London. It was pretty amazing but scary at the same time because that was my first time attending such an event. I'm actually a bit of an introvert in new environments, so it wasn't easy for me to strike up conversations with people I've never met before. Couchsurfing forces one to come out of their shell and interact with strangers, which is why I like the idea of crashing at some stranger's place and learning the ropes to their local community, interacting and making new friends wherever I go.
