Overview
About Me
I am a laid back person from South Africa with a pretty insatiable curiosity. I finished my mechanical engineering degree and decided to do my masters in engineering abroad. I am now traveling to Belgium on a backpacking tour of the Balkans and Eastern Europe.
I love meeting new people because I feel like there is so much to learn and discover from them. Every person has a unique perspective. This intrigues me.
I enjoy playing drums, meditating, yoga, reading, playing computer games, longbording, riding bikes (Bmx and Mtb and Mtx) , lazing around and everything in between.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel like if I Couchsurf I will get a different perspective than I would if I just stayed in a hostel. I want to see the city through the eyes of a local.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love all branches of rock from folk all the way through to hard rock and psychedelic rock. I also listen to some dirty electro on occasion but I usually leave that to festivals or friends to play.
I love documentaries and all good movies. If it's made well I'll love it!
I tend to mostly read nonfiction pieces unless they are classic fictional pieces.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Decided to take the leap of faith and do a solo backpacking tour through the balkans.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning about everything! (Except pop culture)
