Hi there 🙂

I am Juan Carlos Medina, a 29 years old mechanical engineer and enthusiastic traveler that loves meeting new people and exploring new places around the 🌍. I am originally from Venezuela but I grew up in the Canary Islands, Spain- specifically in the island of Tenerife 🏝. I moved to New York, United States in 2011 where I completed my bachelor degree in mechanical engineering and started my career in the aerospace industry in 2016, also in New York.

Traveling has become my identity ✈
Being able to immerse myself in different cultures, exploring new places, trying different food and connecting with others around the world has been without a doubt the most rewarding and fulfilling experience. 

When I am not traveling or working I enjoy practicing yoga and meditation, salsa dancing, playing tennis or volleyball, cooking, hiking, reading or simply spending time with family.

I am terrible surfing on waves, so I thought couches might be a bit easier 😅 Looking to meet new adventures people while traveling solo- I would love to share stories, ideas, and hobbies. I am a very open minded person that is always willing to learn new things.

• Hiked the Mount Teide (in Canary Islands) during midnight with flashlights- what an adventure!

• Crocodiles in Everglades National Park.
• Wild sheep in Southern Iceland
• Elephants in Thailand
• Camel in Qatar
