Hi im Lorenz,
I have been born and raised in Germany, but allways had a special intrest in the far east.
I've studied Sinology for three years now, and just finished my Bachalor degree.
Now I want to go to Taiwan for a year to further increase my chinese speaking abilities.
I have studied in China bevor, and had a great experience there. But especially friendships from China didn't last so well. So this time I want to try Couchsurfing to find new frinds on Taiwan right from the beginning.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a wide variety of music, so it's difficult to pick any favourites. But I guess I especially like music from the 60s and 70s.
My favorite director of all time is Stanley Kubrik, I especially like his "2001 a space Odysse", and "the shining".
When it comes to books I like Hermann Hesse, Stefan Zeig , Charles Dickins, Jane Austin, Henry James , and 鲁迅 ;-) 。
