Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I think it's a good way to meet new people from all over the world. I believe that a person should communicate with as much people in his/her life time as possible. What is the point in staying in a hotel if you could have the time of your life with a person from an other country?

Interests

Pretty typical for a person on couchsurfing but I love to travell. But not travell as in staying in a hotel and going on excursions. I love to put myself out of my comfort zone and hitchhike and stay in hostels or with hosts from couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books take a lot of time from my life. You will probably always see me carrying a book with me. Books that teach me something new are the ones I will read. I don't like drama, trillers or romance, I'm more of a philosophy, economics, social study kind of person. Not too picky of what I read.
Favourite book - Paulo Coelho "The Alchemist"
Music - pop music that hits the feels. Like Coldplay, the Lumineers, Sam Smith, One Republic. I also like Ed Sheeran, Shawn Mendes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'm actually writting this while doing the most crazy thing I have ever done. I'm travelling with my friend on the east cost of Spain from Barcelona to Gibraltar.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pretty random, but I can teach people about fitness. My first ever hobby was going to the gym and bars. I loved the sensation I got after a workout. Now I train just to look good.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Bad jokes, big smile and gratitude. I will also bring a souvenir from my country if I will have a place for it in my bag. Most likely some kind of food like chocolate or bread. Latvian black chocolate is the best! :D
