I'm an easy-going, social and chatty 20 year old from a small town in Norway. Currently, I'm working in northern Norway and am spending a lot of time enjoying everything this part of my country has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I think the best way to experience any place is with the help of locals.

Being able to meet travellers in times when I'm not able to travel myself is something I really appreciate.

Also, I want to make new friends while travelling, and I think Counhsurfing is an extraordinary way of doing so!

Interests

I am all about outdoor activities and animals. I love being active: running, hiking, horsebackriding, bicycling, swimming, or wandering city streets. The list goes on!

Moreover, I love being social and spend time with other people, exchanging ideas and stories, and make memories.

In 2017 I hiked across Norway, about 500km, and backpacked Asia, Australia and America for 2.5 months. Currently planning to hike North to South in Norway, about 3000km, starting March 2020.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy books and movies which I can learn something from - fact books and documentaries, especially about politics, society, or psychology are on the top of my list. I also enjoy the occasional sitcom, my all-time favorite is How I met Your Mother!

Don't have a special favorite genre when it comes to music, but I'm still quite picky about what I like, from Norwegian folk music to some top of the chart-hits.

Decided in 2016 to live my life fearlessly , and it has brought me so many amazing places and made me meet extraordinary people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would like to learn more languages, and about the culture and history of the places I'm visiting. As I'm from Norway, I know the Scandinavian culture well, and can speak both Norwegian and Swedish, and a tiny bit Danish. Of course I will gladly teach you whatever you want to learn. In addition, I would love to listen to and share travel stories!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am starting to become quite good at making food, and I am very good at talking, as well as listening. I'm always up for any fun things to do, and often put crazy ideas to life, which ends up as good memories, best shared with someone! I am also tidy and calm.
