Hello, I am currently an anthropology student trying to explore as much of the world as possible and to share new experiences! I am passionate about cultural understanding and I seek to learn about others in the most authentic and honest ways possible! Aside from school I love music and singing and I hope to share this spirit with those around me too! I am a strong advocate for the fair treatment of all human beings too no matter what their gender sexuality age ethnicity or citizenship status! I have just completed a study abroad experience in Malta and there I began to learn Classical Arabic, my skills are quite rusty however as work got in the way so I hope to pick this back up again!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am currently travelling around Morroco with my friend and we are hoping to see as much as possible but with an insiders perspective, we are both students so saving money is also really important to us, so this is a great website!
I hope to also host hangout and couch surfing when I move back to London too, so t would be nice to make connections around the world!

I love most music genres but electronic rnb and alternative ambient music is my particular favourites, I love artists such as prince, kelela, sampha, solange, aphex twin, gorrillaz
I love way too many movies but funny games by Michael haneke, strange days by Kathryn bigelow, social network and gone girl by David Fincher amongst many
My favourite books include the spirit catches you and then you fall down, sister outsider by audre lorde and catch 22 by Joseph Hellner which I am currently reading

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

An amazing thing I have done was spending time on the island of Gozo and creating my own instruments with the artist Yuri Landman
There I learned to saunder and tune instruments made from saws wood and other surplus art materials!

Teach, Learn, Share

Last year I created a course with a friend teaching children at school how to create films from beginning till end! I am familiar with producing films and although I still would love to create more and improve even more I am familiar with editing writing directing and even(badly done at times) acting

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my experiences as a performer and film enthusiast!
A positive and easy going attitude is really the most I can give too and I hope to share happy and exciting experiences with hosts! Also I am a vegan and a real cooking enthusiast so I would be very happy to share techniques and recipes!
