About Me

Ayo - I'm a 21 year old Italo-Israeli recent graduate from an MA Medical Anthropology degree at SOAS University London. Transitioning into the big world, figuring out my role and letting the flow guide my path to what's next. Grew up around and about so home is nowhere and anywhere. Thus why I love travelling. And with that comes meeting people. I love people (I mean I did anthropology) - particularly strangers as I get to learn a lot about myself and it usually comes with a moment of internal change. Or just hella fun. Could be awkward but I'll just make it more awkward until what is even awkwardness?
Anyways, I love the excitement of cities (mostly lived in them) but I always long for the outdoors, fellow creatures, the elements (low key obsessed with Avatar - not the blue ones). I NEED to move: dance, climb, bike, aerial, pole, swim, skii, skate, I adore testing my limits and challenging myself learning new things (physically, intellectually, emotionally even). It keeps me feeling alive.
Generally would say I'm a curious person. Sometimes though that means I leave things too quickly and lack commitment - have yet to grow, indeed. I guess I'm an 'open' person but have got secret aspects and can be introverted. Let's make this inter-web connection an inter-personal one, maybe even go inter-galactic or inter-microsmal (what?) who knows where the experience might lead. sAfe x

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think trusting people and being open to new relationships is crucial to being happy and comfortable in this world and couch surfing is just that. And it's something we seem to be losing looking at general socio-politics. I want to know that there is hope in humans and use this rather radical possibility of connection online to exchange, create and grow. Humans can be lit.
