I am a blond-bobbed girl from the south of the Netherlands, currently studying humanistics in Utrecht. Before you are going to ask: humanistics is a lovely study focused on the meaningmaking process we all have in our lives & making society more humane and inclusive. Basically it's a combination of philosophy, psychology, religion and sociology.

It took me a lot of thinking and travelling to get to this point though. Before this i worked in malaga as an au-pair, travelled spain and portugal, worked in a hospital and travelled some parts of south america for a few months. I still hold on to this latin culture and the spanish language quite a bit since I love it, but also to keep the free spirit going.

Travelling always enabled me to get many perspectives on life, and i am s still searching that in all my encounters. Right now i am making some trips here and there to free my mind and refresh my brain. In this, I just look for genuine people willing to share a piece of their mind or time.

I also make jewellery (which I will be selling in Spain this summer), try to learn salsa dancing and enjoy cooking veg food

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have noticed you can travel from city to city without even feeling the country! Couchsurfing gives me the possibility to get to know beautiful people while getting to know the local culture and secrets of the place. I prefer a day full of tiny beautiful places over the touristy highlights! All for slow travelling ❤️
