I am a history student currently living in Istanbul. I'm a single Turkish male, father of a lovely cat whose name is Pablito. I'm 20 and I am a travel addict. Most of the time I travel with my cousin. We are travelling for discovering new cultures and meeting with new friends (such a cliché).

I am both a host and a visitor. So feel free to ask for a couch!

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite genre changes with my mood but mostly I stick to Turkish pop like Tarkan and couple of not-that-famous Turkish singers. Also I like classics like Arctic Monkeys, Sting and Queen.
Definitely, Forrest Gump is my favourite and also I like other popular ones like Fight Club and American History X.
I work in a bookstore as a part-time job so deciding on what is my favourite book is challenging but I guess I enjoy the books that's about my field of expertise like Bernard Lewis's Middle East and Hammer's History of Ottoman Empire.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saving a kitten from the street that was nearly dead and raising him up to become the most handsome cat of Istanbul.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can teach you some cool Turkish phrases and cook you basic Turkish dishes like cigkofte, menemen and make you a delicious Turkish coffee. I would make a good company and be a perfect listener.
