I am currently traveling around NZ after working as a teacher in Queenstown for a few months.

I am originally from the States (don't judge me). I graduated uni with a degree in early childhood education and taught year one for two years. I decided it was time to get out so I went to Australia. I spent a year there as an Au Pair. I wasn't ready to go home (I'm sure you know why) so I came to NZ.

I am very much enjoying the travel lifestyle and I don't plan to stop anytime soon!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking to meet others during my travels. Staying with locals is a great way to get to know the area and it's nice to connect with like-minded people. It's my first time traveling solo so staying with people who know the area/can give tips on where to go makes it a bit easier.
